Character Rules
Below you will find a list of all the guidelines that must be followed when creating a role playing character. These guidelines will also go over etiquette on posting.
1. Characters can start from whatever position they want.
Meaning if you don't want to start your character right at the beginning of the story, that is acceptable.
2. Legendary Pokemon are off limits unless applied for.
There will only be ONE of every legendary Pokemon. If you know of one that you really want, PM me and inform me, and I will approve or deny the request. If you cannot get a hold of me, PM another moderator. The legendary list as well as the Pokemon's status can be found here.
3. No God playing.
Meaning if you are in a battle with another member, telling them that you grabbed a hold of their Pokemon while it was trying to run away and killed it is unacceptable. Give other players a chance to respond to your writing.
4. Characters must remain active.
If a character looses activity without explanation, it will be moved to a hidden board where all old characters will rot.
5. You have a character creation limit of five.
Meaning you can only have five active characters at once. Having any more than that will get very confusing between distinguishing the trainers and their Pokemon, and it may turn into a mess. So lets be mindful of the limit.
6. All trainers may have a maximum of SIX POKEMON on them at one time.
Other Pokemon will be kept with Prof. Cedar, Yavimia's expert in Pokemon knowledge. She will keep them safe and organized.
7. If you wish to switch your Pokemon out, send me a PM.
I will be acting as the Prof. Cedar NPC. If I am not online, switch them out in your roleplay anyways. Just make sure you inform me which pokemon are being switched to your party, and / or which are being deposited.
