RULES
First and foremost, on behalf of Casting Stones, welcome to Yavimia! I hope you have found your adventure here pleasant thus far. My name is Professor Cedar, and I will become a familiar face around here. I am this regions expert in Pokemon. People call me the Pokemon Professor!
This world is inhabited with creatures known as Pokemon. For some, Pokemon make great pets. Others choose to use them in battle.
This region is filled with endless opportunities, and there are all sorts of wonders waiting to be unveiled!
I know no one is particularly fond of rules, but they are most definitely needed for a Role play setting. These rules are a MUST if you wish to partake in the activities of this site. Anyone found to be breaking the rules will be banned, no questions asked.
1. Watch your language.
Mild language is acceptable, however complete vulgarity is not. Please understand that kids may partake in the events of this forum, and we want to make this a fun experience for everyone.
2. Be kind to the other members.
This one is a no brainer. No harassment will be tolerated at Casting Stones. Anyone caught breaking this rule will be removed from the site.
3. Be literate on the role play boards.
If you MUST go out of character, state that you are doing so in your post. And try not to make a major habit of it.
4. No pornographic content.
This includes images and role playing. It is okay to get a little feisty in a role play setting, but please keep it within reason. Anyone caught breaking this rule will be removed from the site.
5. Keep gore to a minimum.
This is Pokemon, not Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
6. Try to make posts lengthy and interesting.
It's always more fun when people have some material to work with. Posting two or three sentence responses in a role play setting leaves other role players with very little material to work around. Try to keep your posts to four or five sentences at least. If you need help on ideas for creativity, ask around. Role players tend to have amazing ideas.
7. GRAMMAR IS EVERYTHING.
The boards look a lot nicer when there are as little grammar mistakes as possible. If English is not your first language, inform a moderator or administrator. Mistakes happen, but let's try and make it uncommon.
8. All-new characters. No TV/Video game trainers.
The fun in role playing is getting to create an amazing character and learn as you go. No templates on this site guys, this is all about your own creativity.
9. No fake Pokemon.
I cannot stress this enough. You can not make your own Pokemon up. This is based on the actual Pokemon franchise. I think having the ability to create and customize your trainer is good enough for now.
